Perk International Inc. (OTCBB:PRKI) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary TECH9 Inc. has entered into an extensive consulting contract with KONTACT MARKETING GROUP.

The scope of the contract enables TECH9 Inc. to leverage its major accounts for broadcast on the 150 screens managed by Kontact Marketing Group. Under this agreement, TECH9 can place ads, sponsorships or participate in sampling and or experiential programs through the most widely-travelled underground PATH and public transit system in North America (Toronto, Ontario).

The C-Store (convenience store) and Newsstand digital network comprises of Gateway who have locations at the majority of the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) stations linking the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and the downtown core of Toronto and International News Stands, whom are situated throughout the Toronto Path and major shopping malls in Ontario. The sheer size of the footprint is deemed to be the largest underground commercial pathway in the world with over 1 million pedestrians daily. The addition of the Kontact Marketing Group network follows suit with the digital poster boards present throughout The Path operated by Pattison and a host of other digital out of home providers.

Irene Patterson, President of Compass Media Group and Partner of Kontact Marketing Group, states, “The addition of the TECH9 team to our sales initiative is pivotal to the growth of the Kontact Marketing Group’s model for “DOOH” (digital out of home) newsstand network we manage. TECH9’s robust and recognizable client base is ideally suited for broadcast on our screens throughout the GTA (Greater Toronto Area),” she adds.

“We are pleased that Kontact Marketing Group has the confidence in our network and sales savvy,” states Robert J Oswald, CEO of TECH9 Inc. “Too often the synergies between partners are overlooked and not capitalized on. We have years of combined “DOOH” (digital out of home) experience at TECH9 with agencies of record for fortune 500 companies who utilize TECH9 for their own digital networks. TECH9 and Kontact Marketing Group will all certainly profit from these relationships,” he adds.

Kontact Marketing Group offers publishers and marketers full service distribution into TTC /GO and PATH Networks through our exclusive relationship with two very successful retailers – Gateway Newsstands and International News. These high profile, high traffic indoor channels expose your product and brand messages to an audience that responds to drive positive results.
