SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Volvo AB said Tuesday it has named Per
Carlsson as president and chief executive of its Volvo Trucks North America
division, effective Jan. 1, 2008.
Carlsson is currently head of Volvo Powertrain Sweden, the automaker said.
Volvo also said it has appointed Peter Karlsten as president and CEO of
Volvo Powertrain, effective Dec. 1.
Shares of Volvo were up 3% at $17.97.
