BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - AVX Corp. Thursday reported fourth-quarter
earnings of 25 cents a share on revenue of $379.4 million.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters is for earnings of
20 cents a share on revenue of $418.1 million.
In the same period a year earlier, AVX reported earnings of 21 cents a share
on revenue of $405.9 million.
Shares of the Myrtle Beach, S.C.-based maker of passive electronic
components closed Wednesday at $13.63.
