AKRON, Ohio, July 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A. Schulman, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHLM) announced today that Jack Taylor has been appointed General Manager - Asia, effective September 1, 2008; and Bernard Rzepka will replace Taylor as General Manager - Europe.

Rzepka, 48, has been with A. Schulman, Inc. for 15 years, serving in a variety of technology and commercial management positions, including as head of the Europe Engineered Plastics and Masterbatch business units and as Managing Director of Germany. Before joining A. Schulman, Inc. he spent five years with ICI Advanced Materials in technical service.
