In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 9.6.14, Poundland Group Plc announces that Darren Shapland, its non-executive chairman, has been appointed as non-executive chairman of Topps Tiles Plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Mr. Shapland's appointment is with effect from 19th March 2015.
