Personnel Update - General Managers for Marine and Power

Quadrise, the emerging supplier of MSAR, a low cost alternative to heavy fuel oil in the shipping, refining and power generation markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Lloyd and Sam Saimbi as senior management to progress its Marine Fuels and Power programmes.

Commenting on this development, Ian Williams, Executive Chairman of QFI, said:

"We are delighted to have attracted Robin and Sam to the Company. They are both high calibre professionals and I am sure will make significant contributions to both the Marine Fuels and Power programmes as these progress towards commercialisation.

The recruitment of additional management to take our key programmes forward was a key objective for the Company and this has now been achieved. These senior appointments will strengthen the Quadrise team and lead the commercial development of our Marine and Saudi Arabian MSAR projects through 2015 and beyond."

General Manager - Marine Markets:

Robin Lloyd joined Quadrise on 1 December 2014, and until recently worked for Mabanaft in the UK in a senior role with responsibility for Operations and Biofuels.

He holds a Master of Chemistry degree and has had a significant career in the oil and petrochemical sectors (with Chevron) and in alternate fuels (bioethanol - British Sugar.

Robin has extensive experience in business management, physical cargo and paper trading, fuel legislation and compliance, developing and implementing quality control procedures and team management.

General Manager - Power Markets:

Sam Saimbi joined the Company on 5 January 2015 and has over 20 years of experience in the international power generation markets. This includes all aspects of engineering, business development, sales and general management. Sam is a Mechanical Engineer by profession.

In his previous role as Sales Director for Alstom Power he successfully negotiated and secured several multi-million pound contacts. These included retrofit projects to utility power plants, firing coal, oil & gas, biomass, Orimulsion (a first generation emulsion fuel) and waste products.

During the last three years Sam was focused on developing large new build power plants within Europe and other international territories.
