Directorate change
It is with deep sadness and regret that the Board of Andrews Sykes Group plc announces the death of Kevin Ford the Group's Financial Controller.
Kevin was a long standing, loyal and dedicated employee. He joined the company in 1978 and, with the exception of a short interval in the late 1980s, he was employed by the group thoroughout his working life. His career was mainly in the finance department and in December 2011 he assumed responsibility for the financial affairs of the group reporting directly to the Board.
Kevin passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday 28th December 2014. The Board wishes to extend their thoughts and condolences to his family at this most difficult time.
The Board is currently evaluating various options concerning the succession plan. In the short term Kevin's immediate responsibilities and duties will be dealt with by the Board and the finance department. Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate.
