TR-1: NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

Amendment Notification of Major Interest in Shares:
This is an amendment to the notification made by the parties set out
in Box 3 below to Home Retail Group plc (the "Issuer") on 31 May 2012
and released by the Issuer through RNS on 1 June 2012 (the "Previous
Notification").
This notification solely amends the form of the Previous Notification
by the substitution of the number 7 for the number 6 which had appeared
in Box 7 of the Previous Notification. The form of the Previous Notification
otherwise remains wholly unchanged.
For the most recent notification made by the parties set out in Box 3
below, please see the form TR-1 released on 19 June 2012.
