BAE Systems - sale of assets of BAE Systems Tensylon High Performance Materials Inc. business

BAE Systems has entered into an agreement for the sale of the assets comprising its BAE Systems Tensylon High Performance Materials Inc. ("Tensylon") business to E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company for cash consideration of $18 million. The business develops and manufactures a leading protective material trademarked Tensylon(R), which has both ballistic armour and commercial applications.
The sale of the Tensylon business assets is expected to close in the third quarter of 2012.
