Yell appoints Jim McCusker to the new role of

President of Yellowbook

Yell, a leading provider of digital services, today announces the appointment of Jim McCusker to the new role of President of Yellowbook in the US. Jim will have day to day responsibility for all Yellowbook operations, ensuring their effective delivery in support of the Group's ongoing global strategy.

This involves Yell's rapid transformation from its established position in providing print and online advertising for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to become a leader in the emerging local eMarketplace. The eMarketplace comprises an innovative platform and digital portal where consumers and SMEs can connect and transact.

Jim is a highly experienced executive with more than 20 years detailed knowledge of the US sales and marketing environment, and the development of Yellowbook's sales approach in that time. Since joining Yellowbook in 1989 as an account representative in Philadelphia, Jim has held a wide range of increasingly senior sales roles. He was appointed Chief Sales Officer in 2006.

Jim will report to Bob Gregerson, Yellowbook Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Consumer Officer, and continue to be based at Yell's offices in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Bob Gregerson said: "Jim has vast experience in the effective delivery of products and services within local markets. He has exactly the right mix of passion, dedication and leadership to ensure Yellowbook delivers on our Group strategy to meet the needs of our merchants and of our consumers that want to connect and transact."

Jim McCusker said: "Yell has a very exciting strategy to develop as a global organisation to offer digital services addressing the converging needs of SMEs and consumers. Given our long-established position in offering effective marketing solutions, we are in a prime position to deliver on our plans. I am delighted to be driving this transformation in the United States."
