Director / PDMR Shareholding
Pittards plc ("Pittards" or "the Company"), the specialist producer of technically advanced leather and luxury leather goods for sale to retailers, manufacturers and distributors, has been informed that on 20 March 2012 Chamberlain Plastics Limited ("CPL"), a company in which Stephen Boyd, Chairman is deemed beneficially to be interested, sold 250,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company and on 21 March sold a further 450,000 shares, at a price of 3.5p per share.
The sale was undertaken to assist CPL's working capital requirements.
CPL continues to own 950,000 shares and Stephen Boyd owns 17,683,333 shares in Pittards, representing approximately 4.2 per cent in aggregate of the issued share capital.
In addition, Reg Hankey, Chief Executive, sold 500,000 shares to his SIPP on 21 March at prices of 3.74 per share which were bought back by his SIPP at 3.75p per share. There is therefore no change in Mr Hankey's beneficial ownership and he continues to own 7,121,719 shares in the company representing approximately 1.6 per cent in aggregate of the shares in issue.
