CHANGES IN DIRECTORATE
Beale PLC is pleased to announce that William Tuffy has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
William Tuffy is a qualified chartered accountant and has, since August 2009, been the interim Group Finance Director of a large private company.
Between November 2007 and September 2008 he was Celebrations Group Ltd interim Finance Director. From December 2004 to March 2007 he was the Group Finance Director for Select (Retail Holding) Limited. From October 2000 to November 2004 he was a director of Oxford English Training Ltd.
Previously he has been Finance Director of TK Maxx Limited and held senior finance positions in Storehouse PLC.
Under 9.6.13(3) of the Listing rules it is disclosed that William Tuffy was a director of Select (Retail) Limited until 31(st) March 2007. Select (Retail) Limited entered administration on 22 February 2008 and entered a voluntary creditors liquidation and was wound up on 17 August 2009. He was also a director of Celebrations Group Limited until 18 September 2008. Celebrations Group Limited entered administration on 8 October 2008 and entered a voluntary creditors liquidation and was wound up on 9 October 2009.
There are no further disclosures under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing rules.
Keith Edelman, currently the senior independent non-executive director, replaces Mike Killingley as Chairman of Beale Plc on 8 November 2011. Mike Killingley has been the Company's Chairman since April 2004 and is retiring from the board with immediate effect. The Directors are grateful for his considerable contribution to the Group.

Mike has been an outstanding chairman of Beale plc for the past 7 1/2 years leading the business through a very difficult transformation period and he believed that this acquisition seemed a suitable point at which to retire.
