Densitron Technologies plc
Densitron Technologies plc is pleased to announce the appointments of David
McQuiggan as Chief Executive Officer and Crawford Gray as non executive Chairman
with immediate effect. At the same time Cliff Hardcastle has ceased to be
Executive Chairman and Director.
David (39) joined the Company 13 years ago as a Development Engineer working at
Biggin Hill. He subsequently transferred to Densitron America working within the
Technical Support department, later becoming Regional Sales Manager
responsible for the east coast of America. During his time in that role he won a
scholarship to Yale in 1998 for an MBA in International Marketing. He
successfully completed that course and returned to Densitron America as
Marketing Director. David also has an Honours Degree in electronic engineering
qualifying in 1986 from the University of Bath. Two years ago he took up the
post of Chief Executive of Densitron America where he has successfully
re-organised and rebuilt that part of the Group.
Crawford (58) joined Densitron as a non-executive director in 1995 from a
background in finance at the Parker Pen Company and other commercial companies.
Crawford is a member of the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Scotland, the
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Association of Corporate
Treasurers.
