Host Europe unveils its next generation hosting technology: MyServerWorld
Host Europe PLC is one of Europe's leading Internet hosting providers to the SME market.
Host Europe is delighted to announce the launch of MyServerWorld, its innovative successor to the Virtual Control Panel
(VCP) pioneered by the company in 1997, representing a fundamental step change in the manner in which customers manage
their web hosting solutions.
Following a significant development effort by Host Europe, MyServerWorld provides an integrated toolset and a wealth of
new features enabling total control of web site solutions by the customer, and will be included with all hosting
solutions provided through the WebFusion and Magic Moments brands.
MyServerWorld builds on the features of the VCP, adding new functionality ranging from code validation tools to
database management, on-line backup management and the ability to monitor bandwidth utilisation. MyServerWorld also
includes a whole range of new CGI scripts such as surveys and quizzes, an easy to use e-commerce shopping cart, and the
ability to create and manage up to 500 sub domains. Existing features from the VCP such as web site statistics and
web-based e-mail have also been considerably improved.
Significantly, Host Europe's network of thousands of resellers will benefit from a fundamental upgrade in the
functionality and flexibility provided by MyServerWorld, as the new release allows them to 'white label' and configure
their hosting solutions. This means that resellers have the ability to design their own branded control panel, and set
up and manage their own web hosting plans, tailoring exactly which features and settings to offer their customers.
