ALLOTMENT OF SHARES
NFC plc announces that it has today alloted a total of 22,729 ordinary shares in
the share capital of the company at a price of 132p per share to one participant
in the 1992 Employee Share Option Scheme, and at a price of 153p to one
participant in the 1996 Savings Related Share Option Scheme. These participants
have exercised their options under the terms of the relevant schemes.
This allotment represents an increase in the share capital of 0.0043%.
The total issued share capital of the company is now 523,971,289.
