for Victoria Carpets Limited
For the second year in succession, Victoria Carpets Limited has been voted by
the 140+ members of Greendale Carpets, one of the UK's most prestigious buying
groups, awards for "Supplier of the Year" and "Best Product for 2003".
The criteria that Victoria was judged on by members, covered the efficiency of
their overall service offering to customers, including initial primary contact
with Victoria representatives, how efficiently their orders were handled and
stock levels, in order to guarantee prompt delivery.
Accepting the awards on behalf of Victoria Carpets, John Duncan, Joint Managing
Director, paid tribute to the Victoria team in production, sales, accounts and
distribution who have secured this recognition and who are key to the on-going
success of Victoria.
"Through their dedication, hard work and loyalty we have once again achieved
this industry accolade" he commented.

second year running. To win the Best Product award with our Tudor Twist range,
truly reflects that these experienced members have judged our product on quality
- quality that stands out from our competitors".
The Tudor Twist range consists of no less than 40 colours, available in 2-metre,
4-metre and from June, in 5-metre widths. The collection was initially developed
four years ago, in conjunction with Victoria's sister Company, Westwood Yarns,
based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, and is a unique blend of 80% wool and 20%
polypropylene.
Jeff Covey, Editor of Carpets Review, announced the winners and Mr David
Burgess, Chairman, Greendale Carpets presented the trophies in front of 300
members, guests and suppliers at the Greendale AGM which was held in the superb
surroundings of Tortworth Court Hotel, Wootton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire.
