 BT Group PLC (BT.LN), the communications services company, said Friday that BT Global Services sold its French application development services business to the French I.T. services company Osiatis, with the sale to be effective as of June 1.
MAIN FACTS:
-Gross assets of business being sold EUR1.84 million on March 31
-Allows BT Global Services in France to focus further on core strategy of offering networked IT services and communications solutions to corporate customers and the government sector
-BT shares closed Thursday at 206.3 pence valuing the company at GBP16.1 billion.
