Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. (009540.SE), the world's largest shipbuilder by orders, said Friday it is in talks with Cummins Inc. (CMI) regarding possible cooperation in the engine business.
"We are considering business tie-ups (with the U.S. construction-equipment engine maker,) including setting up a joint venture," the company said in a regulatory filing.
However, the Ulsan-based shipbuilder said it has yet to make any decisions.
