Diageo (DGE.FR) a annoncé mardi un remaniement au sein de sa direction, alors que le groupe britannique de spiritueux s'efforce de stimuler ses ventes en Amérique du Nord, son marché le plus important.
La directrice financière de Diageo, Deirdre Mahlan, va retourner aux Etats-Unis, d'où elle est originaire, pour diriger la division Amérique du Nord du groupe. Diageo n'a pas précisé qui lui succéderait, mais une personne proche du dossier a indiqué que le groupe avait déjà commencé à chercher un candidat externe.
Le premier groupe mondial de spiritueux en termes de chiffre d'affaires avait précédemment annoncé ce mois-ci que Larry Schwartz, qui dirigeait la division Amérique du Nord depuis 2012, démissionnerait à la fin de l'année. Deirdre Mahlan prendra ses nouvelles fonctions une fois que son successeur aura été trouvé.
