Very, very cheap

Decent enough results. Yield 8.9% and annualised P/E of 8.6 with net cash of 48p/share. Very cheap, but for obvious reasons...

I seee the same but looks like the result of thin trading and buy sell ratio. Stick in a buy order and see what the quote is. My guess is 41-42

OK - what have I missed? This is some fall, especially against the market today.

Agree - is hard to fathom. Jam tomorrow, steady as it goes for now. As ever I may well be missing something. Will continue to hold, rather than add. Being, slightly, in the black for the first time in years I was a little tempted to dispose of a few. Let’s see what the day brings.

Jam tomorrow doesn’t really explain the recent strong share price.

1bn AUM may be worth more to a consolidator.

Thanks for the considered response. I guess the short answer is that, for this share, the ADVFN Monitor is of very little use. As much for the 4.1% it is not showing as up as for the previous, supposed, drop.

I don't think it has. The spread seems to have started 44.2 - 48p, but the graph showed the average of 46.1p. There is then a sell at 44.4p so the price moved to reflect that and now there was a buy at 48p so the price moved to reflect that. But during all that time the spread stayed 44.2p - 48p. Don't asked me why the graph starts at mid and then moves to the price of the last trade, but that's what it seems to do...

Come on someone - explain how on trades of 948 shares this "apparently" falls by close to 4%!

and . . . yes I have nothing better to do with my time on a very wet Friday.

All buys - the last, on of three 10000, @46p. Final share price - shown as slightly down on the day. . who knows what goes on here.

Prefer "rather unusual" or "rather refreshing" or even "rather exciting" - having said that it is . . . odd. Does anyone have any real idea what lies behind this pattern of buys and share price increase? Not that one is complaining.

Interims: My reading, for what it's worth (20p?) Well - sort of OK - no they are more sort of a squid. Business as, nearly back to, normal with some hope for the future. A pound? More chance of Rotherham finishing in the top 6!

Added at just below my average here. Thought about it all week - wish I had acted sooner. Just feel that there is something about to happen.

Likewise. As for a return to £1 - Fingers crossed - now that is scientific investing.
