IC say hold , FWIW. They point out that although the £8M warehouse investment is about 2/3rds of its cash, it should bring in £2.8M annually but not for another 2 yrs.

Oil price reductions this year affecting margins , not ib their gift to influence - this will pick up again as supply reducees . Rubbish weather must have seriously disrupted agricultural business.
Boughey will continue to do well with new facility .

These were quite poor results despite them guiding lower. I don't understand quite whats gone wrong here when they have in the past been a very defensive business producing dependable results year after year particularly under the last CEO..

r4 morning program from Stoke a few days ago, mentioned the lead story in the Sentinel, 250 jobs to be created in N Staffs warehouse,
research indicates it's Boughey, NWF's food distribution business...

They are committing to a large expansion of the business so they must have some decent contracts lined up

steady as she goes by the look of it
Foods side is being expanded due to high demand
Mild weather affecting the fuel and foods business still
They had around £16m nett cash at at full year end so hopefully this has continued to grow being ample to expand the foods business

if you read Roland Hill's very recent article you might conclude it's a steady compounder with and excellent dividend record, long-term multi bagging share price, opportunity for growth in food distribution and consolidation among fuel suppliers. Though feeds is a low growth relatively low margin business.

Yes I'm invested in NWF and nursing a small loss.

I'm not a short term trader and don't interpret the charts or daily movements.

It seems to have decent numbers - 18% ROCE, 4% divi yield, P/E of about 9. Not exciting but fairly solid long term hold.

Main chart looks pretty good but share price struggling to stay up and RSI heading towards strongly oversold now. Any chartists on here.

Relative Strength falling gently and still close to over-bought so out for now.
I'll take another look in a day or two.
