Folks, as an old EO'er, I'd suggest those of you looking for a new home for your cash to look at these three; AOI (tsx), PCL (asx), RMP (aim). The theme is East-Africa. First one is a class outfit with a big discovery on its hands and a new well about to follow-up. Second company has just started drilling the giant Mbawa prospect offshore Kenya. The first two are partnered by Tullow in some of the hottest exploration acres in the world right now. Third is more risky, but at current market value less cash (£13mln), it is arguably one of the cheapest oil co's on aim. It is actively involved in oil drilling campaign in East-Africa right now with an AOI subsiduary, over an area thought to be a replica of Yemen's multi-billion barrel basins. A discovery would, quite simply, transform them overnight.

I hold stock in all three. AOI is my pick of the bunch - massive drill campaign about to begin to follow-up Ngamia success in kenya. Good luck whatever you do.

There's plenty of reason to panic when you calculate your CGT liability. Give me Cairn paper any day....

Farewell Nautical. A good Catch(er) that turned into a Kraker.

Put some of mine into FastJet (FJET) a new Easyjet start-up for Africa.

Backed by Stelios and Lonrho, major shareholders, so substantially lessens the risks imo.

Anyway, farewell Nautical, it's been good!

Unexplored Atlantic margins r us then Mr Angry as I also have an interest in FAST and PVR, the latter of which is coming together nicely after seven long years for me after much averaging down over the lean times.

LM - I put a slug in SQZ, though should point out that I am a long term investor, so maybe not the best place for a quick fix.

Well done for selling out when you did steelwatch. Obviously should have done the same and not only to get a tad more money but also to have had the use of that money earlier. Really thought though that there would be a counter bid.

Ooh well where to invest the cash next?

Any thoughts steelwatch or indeed any other poster?
