From the above link you can see Q4 2003 rainfall was very high, giving the increase in yield, however 2004 has been good, but not as good as 2003 rain, this may result in lower yield this year than last. Just IMO.

seen you on BFC, have been looking at this and MPE. have small holding in MPE.
just read some info on palm oil, regarding the drought that is affecting some parts of asia. could have a impact on cpo prices later in the year.
tricky stock this very illiquid, and main crop is palms.
MPE came about from three way merger, more diversified, rich in development land. so went for them.
are you in this? nms is tiny.

Anybody else looking at this - Figures look quite good

a/ Prospective PE ratio of 14.
b/ Growth in eps forecast of 117%.
c/ Net asset value per share of 25.3p.
d/ Cash flow of 1.91p per share.
e/ Dividend yield of 4.7%.

Anybody know if their oil palm can be used for biofuels.
