Just commenting on a stock I'm interested in, as most on these BB's. Do your own research. Think this is quite an interesting vehicle at the moment, as is CAMEC, despite the enormous disappointments. Certainly not a stock to put your life savings into, but at 3p and 2p respectively, they look better value than the £1 or so they both traded at a year or so ago.
Generally speaking, I'm sticking to cash or investment trusts at the moment. WNL is for fun!

topvest is a right little ramper when it suits him. He seems to me like a broker with stock he has to shift before next fundraising. He should carry a wealth warning.

Lots of 12,000 share blocks purchased today @ 3p - looks a bit odd.

Looking at the reverse takeover the consideration shares were priced at:

US$15m loan acquired

- effectively £10m

5p a share!

I see Mike Pelham (in the AIM prospectus) is being paid £25k a year to keep taking forward the Sudan oil prospect. There is still a glimmer of hope on the oil assets; nice to see that they will keep trying.

It is a profitable business, but only after backing out the CAMEC management fees and interest. The figure you quote above is gross profits, not net profits. All the same it is a growth business, that looks to have potential and looks good from a sustainability perspective.

read the admission document (Dec 24)

a profitable (new) business then (in the new company, after Jan 22nd)?

DECA's total revenues for the year to March 2008 grew to $5.5 million, generating a gross profit of $1.8
million. During 2008, the average price achieved for maize meal has been approximately $330 per tonne,
compared with an equivalent price of $290 per tonne in 2007. Strong demand has been the primary driver
of the increased price with the average price received in the three months ended 30 November 2008 being
$598 per tonne.

Also:

Future Strategy
The Board recognises agriculture as being a significant growth area, particularly on the African continent.
It is envisaged by the Board that DECA's operational business can be replicated not only in other areas of
Mozambique, as is already intended at Compagri, but also in other African countries. The Board also sees
potential in expanding ranching operations under the Mozbife brand.

Bought most of mine at a penny, BVLGARI albeit sitting on a loss on some bought higher. Down about 10% in total on these. Somewhat disturbing to see you enjoy people losing money though.. By the way your spelling needs improvement!

Well I was correct. First time I have second guessed Phil and Andy. This looks a very positive development for White Nile indeed, whereas for CAMEC it leaves them to focus on their mining interest. Win Win for both companies.

From the Camec results..."Similarly with our agricultural investments in DECA and BioEnergy Africa Ltd we are assessing our position and seeing where we can best extract value"........intersting comment. What about selling these assets to White Nile or Agriterra as thy will soon be called.

Results out. Pretty much as expected. c£6m of cash remaining. May raise some more through selling their residual oil and gas interests.
