Yep we seem to use a lot of outside consultants probably because we can't do the work ourselves. Undoubtedly the best value for money independent report we got was the Director Salary Package report which said our Board was vastly underpaid.
Oh - and another tick down this am.

When you've been here as long as I have, waiting for one of the projects to actually get somewhere, endless reports and seismic interpretation are not what you want to hear. A farm out after all this time is what we are looking for and it's forever kicked down the road.

It`s there to put on the record that not allowing an explo well and a possible development would be an act of Irish self harm. To me it`s perfect logic. Develop your own gas with less emissions.

What do shareholders actually get by investing in Europa ?
No dividend , No Share buy -back , share price trading at an all low with shareholders nursing significant loses .

Today’s results and progress were a non-event .

At least shareholders are providing employment and a life-style to our directors who have delivered nothing in terms of share price appreciation.

Likeawalrus, no, it usually means that they feel they have completed sufficient studies to reduce the subsurface uncertainty on a target to the degree that they have identified what they believe to be the optimum location to drill

It doesn't mean they have permits in place, cash in hand, seabed geotechnical and environmental studies done, suppliers and contractors engaged, ...

Plus any farm in partner will at least need to validate their work, if not refine it.

EG-08 is a highly prospective licence which already has three drill-ready prospects, with internally estimated total prospective resources of 1.4 trillion cubic feet of gas equivalent ("TCFE")

...when an oiler says "drill ready" does that simply mean they have all the permits in place or does it mean something more comprehensive?

We are close to commencing the farm-out process for licence EG-08 in Equatorial Guinea as we look to bring in a partner for drilling.

We secured a stake in EG-08 in Dec 23 and believe it has enormous near-term, infrastructure-led, exploration potential. #EOG
