AIM-listed truck-trailer rental business Intermodal Resource
PLC said it is "encouraged" by current trading across both its divisions in the
UK and Germany.
In the company's first trading statement since its admission to AIM in
August, chief executive Robert Montague said: "We are encouraged by trading
across both divisions to date."
He said the transport logistics industry "has been extremely receptive to
our partnership approach and the new contracts signed by Axis and Trailerent
endorse our confidence in the future."
Intermodal was set up last December as the holding company of Germany's Axis
Intermodal and its UK operation Trailerent.
Utilisation of the Axis swap body and chassis fleet has remained high
throughout the year "and the continuing gentle up turn in the European economy
augurs well for the future," Montague said
