The managers of this fund might have lowered their management fees, but the spread has gone up to a massive 3.2% based on a closing price 172/177.5 today.
The previous close on Friday 10th Dec 2021 was 1415/1425 - a more modest spread of 0.7%.

You might be right. the alternative way it will bounce back is when the equity markets fall another level, the discount widens and forms a base-setting us up for a rise again. But that cycle could be 3 years...

I may buy more, but the only way this trust will bounce back is if an activist investor buys in, or the fm is changed.

Nimbo - I also bought back in today. Recent performance has been poor but the long term track record is good and the discount is approaching 15%.Not sure where this will be in a months time but I feel confident on a 3 year basis this has a strong chance will of providing a decent return

It is, the recent performance has been terrible, if a tracker fund beats it, then the trust is a dog. I really hope an activist investor buys in, clears the board out and changes the fund manager, it needs to happen.
