13/11/2023 15:35 | Capital Return.Taxed as Capital Gain.Got the payment from Neville Registrars in my bank account this AM but have not yet had an update from the liquidators.Another 20p or so due based on last cash balance plus/minus outcome of mystery legal case. | 1tx
11/11/2023 22:09 | 3800 Yes, you are correct. | royaloak
11/11/2023 17:39 | Actually royal oak I understood it to be not a dividend, there is quite a difference tax wise, very welcome all the same though. 3800 | 3800
11/11/2023 17:23 | The share that keeps giving, a dividend of 7.7p, possibly more to follow! | royaloak
12/6/2023 13:06 | I assume we are awaiting the outcome of the mystery legal action. The length of time this has been going on puts Jarndyce v Jarndyce in the shade, although I can't trace an actual case involving this company or its former trading operations that have begun.Anyone found anything....I can't remember anything being mentioned prior to the sale of the business or in the solvent liquidation statement. Still this was a fantastic investment....... | 1tx
10/6/2023 13:00 | appointment of new administrator. | spookies

22/12/2022 09:31 | Admittedly I don't know anything about liquidation processes or the legal side of things, but given that (apart from ongoing fees) there doesn't seem to be any substantial liabilities in the offing going forward, you would have thought they would have been able to release a substantial part of the cash that's remaining by now. Nothing much seems to have changed since last year and it's quite a substantial amount of funds left that's just sitting there. Seems to be dragging on for an inordinate length of time. | myopia
21/12/2022 12:11 | Should eventually be one more payment (maybe two) but it probably won't be very large, maybe 10p-20p or so. Possibly more if they win certain litigation that's in progress, but the liquidators don't give any idea of either financial scale or timescale. Edit - The cash at bank is just over 31p/share, so my estimate may have been a touch on the low side. | pldazzle
21/12/2022 10:22 | Still here thanks and Merry Christmas to all Have we had our final payment or still expecting another one? | davidosh

11/1/2022 16:47 | Liquidators of Norman Hay have just updated the current situation. Looks like the third payout will be more than 29p per share. A lot more than I expected. | 0rb1t
06/4/2021 17:16 | ii paid promptly and also the holding transfered from Share center. | 0rb1t
06/4/2021 12:06 | Hi Maz26. I'm not waiting. Received my payment from Neville Registrars on 15th March. Strange that Barclays say they haven't received your payment. You could contact the liquidator and/or the registrars for their view? | ed 123
06/4/2021 11:52 | Barclays claim not to have received payment from the liquidators yet. Is anyone else still waiting for payment? Thanks. | maz26
14/3/2021 15:35 | ...and furthermore the company was a consistently reliable dividend payer throughout the years too so I can only reiterate what has previously been said in the last two posts, an excellent investment for patient shareholders! It has certainly transformed my modest portfolio over the past year and a half. | myopia
13/3/2021 16:59 | Excellent so that looks like having had the first payment which was approximately £3.70 per share we are now getting an additional 81p and possibly a further 10p to 20p final payment. I am very happy with that when considering it left the market with the share price well below a pound. So many delistings do seem to work out positively......I would love to see some figures to back that up if anyone has a link to market delists? | davidosh
13/3/2021 15:06 | Great stuff, received my second distribution of income of 81p per share. Date of letter 10th March. It also states that there will be further distributions although the time or quantum are uncertain at the moment. Amazing what a good investment this turned out to be, well done again to the HNN Management and staff. | royaloak
07/2/2021 20:43 | thank you pidazzle! | myopia
07/2/2021 09:48 | myopia - in short, I believe the answer is No. | pldazzle
07/2/2021 09:33 | I've never really owned shares in a company that has been taken over like this before, or liquidated etc, usually of course you get the proceeds in one go. So don't know if anyone can clarify this point, but is there any danger that as a result of the legal stuff we may be called upon to return some or all of what we have received already? | myopia |
