OMG! Like old times here boys (or girls..but I doubt it).

I spoke to my lot in November... nothing! I spoke to them in December.....nothing! I spoke to them in Januarty...nothing! I complained in February....and the lady was on the phone to me within 30 minutes.

She said that she was sorry for the delay. Like heck was she. She just felt it necessary to call me as she received a complaint about her shoddy ability or the lack of it.

Anyway, she said the all documents had been submitted to HMRC in August/September but HMRC was running really behind and in January were still dealing with the backlog from last summer.

She finished off by telling me in February that it would be a several weeks yet before they expected anything and that they were intermittently contacting HMRC to prompt them.

I myself have resigned myself to getting something back by June or July. Anything earlier will be a bonus.

Hi Mudbath, and Michaelmouse

I have asked Tim the Swim to have a go with JCK via A.J Bell, Manchester.

I bet he is enjoying it this am working with all those Man U supporters.

Thank you for your input, michaelmouse.
I have emailed JCK on the subject.
Sadly, they have not yet found it necessary to respond.
As you suggest, I will attempt to speak with them directly, come the month end.

Hello mudbath. If you read the documentation then it says 3-6 months for HMRC tax clearance. However, my calculations do suggest the 6 month period ends around mid/end March.
I have spoken to James Cowper Kreston on at least two separate occasions now and they did say that all paper work had been sent to HMRC and they were waiting for a response.
If we've still heard nothing by the month's end then I will call again. In the meantime I think it would be worthwhile if other shareholders also called them to find out the current status. Let's say there's no harm in chivvying them along a bit. It is the second installment of OUR money after all.
Best wishes.

Can anyone advise me when the second payment of 0.3p might be payable to STL shareholders ?
I understood that it would be three months after the initial distribution, in which case it should be imminent.
Thanks
==========================
Three months on, does the "distribution", now long overdue, remain on the agenda for James Cowper Kreston ?

If it helps Mud I have been asking/contacting my guys for the last 6 weeks and they are not coming back to me. I think this is how it will be when you are in the situation that we find ourselves currently with the present set up.

On a separate note, good grief, you do tend to get some bleeding stick here from those guys whenever you ask a question. What have you done to deserve this. I mean, surely you have always been and continue to be a saint?

Clock thanks for your kind words.

Management was able to sell Stilo and if you asked them they would tell you that it was not the road they were following. They just could not manage to run it the way It should have been ran. Course, they benefitted tremendously and then decided to jump ship by offloading it. No doubt the new owners are singing and dancing all the way to the bank.

SL I am very pleased you are happy with the result and I loved the way you spoke honestly about the goings on years ago, even while holding shares in the business. A lesson for all.

I was lucky trading it at the time but followed you and mud on this with interest.

Good Luck.

Clock I am absolutely delighted to say that I was a massive shareholder in Stilo and I received a very significant payment but the company should have done a lot better and no doubt the new owners are now rubbing their hands together knowing that they can now move it forward significantly having got rid of the directors who were there just milking it as a lifestyle company. With the company now delisted, wasteful offices closed and restructure after restructure, they have now got it down to a tee. The new owners can now run it how it should have been run in the first place.
