Does anyone know what is happening? They won't take calls and don't call back. Does it follow, if wound up, the receiver will call a meeting and would small shareholders (26K shares)get to hear?

Answering my own question - Current gossip is that YOR has sold its US properties, subject to contract, and will issue a statement on completion, hopefully by the end of this month, which might be expected to get the banks off its back. DYOR

Yorkshire Group says in talks with Peter Gyllenhammar to inject capital

Maybe not........:8)

LONDON (AFX) - Yorkshire Group PLC said it is in talks with non-executive
director Peter Gyllenhammar over the possibility of an injection of additional
equity.
It said Gyllenhammar "has indicated a willingness in principle to become
involved in a transaction with the company in his capacity as a private
investor".
As a result of a potential conflict of interest, Gyllenhammar has decided to
resign his directorship with immediate effect, in order that he can act more
freely.
Gyllenhammar specialises in investing in companies in financial difficulty.
