Premier Milton dumped their 5% holding on Friday. That alone could trash a stock price. Smart or just frustrated ?

There are two threats to suspension. The first is tomorrow when they default on a loan the second is 30/06/2022. If a company defaults on a loan by reason of not being able to pay then it is technically insolvent. It is a criminal offence to trade whilst insolvent so a suspension RNS could come as early as 07:00 tomorrow.

Main listed companies have four months until the year end to publish the results. Under Covid rules another two month extension was granted. The year end for LAM is 31/12/21 which means the results would normally have to be out by 30/04/222. An extension to 30/06/22 has been utilised. There can be no further extensions beyond 30/06/22 unless the company opts to change its year end date.

In a word NO
You would do if they got to 90% then they can acquire your stock regardless.
As this is an offer not a scheme, they don’t need 75% of holders voting for it.
Get the paperwork in and you will get paid when it goes through.

If you don't accept and it goes through I take it you still get paid ?

We all make mistakes; I am going to accept the offer for my shares. What is the value of the company without it, I suspect very little or even 0.
Learn and move on as I am doing!

Any reason why people will sell under 9p offer?
kadvfn1
13/8/2022

the offer (9p) is the lowest they could've offered because Sami paid 8.5p in the market.only game changer could be a huge contract win or a large asset sale in the next few weeks

so what is the offer that was supposed to be published? it doesn't seem much if the stock price is at these levels?

Sidarthur - and the point is they were entering into contracts they couldn't complete. My feeling is even the circling vultures may get left with a nasty surprise. Lamprell have been run into the ground over a long period imho.

Targata - they missed deadlines and were hit by some draconian penalties. The writing was on the wall for this shower when a few years ago the CFO left very suddenly without explanation. The shares were around 160 at the time from memory....

Lamprell make amazing statements regarding their past and future progress. However they never explain how they're lost so much on their contracts ie 200 million on the East Coast project. Imho
