18/2/2019 17:53 | I believe they have said 10% of ATC. I own ATC at the moment so am extremely interested in peoples thoughts on this board, DSS and ATC. | garykc
18/2/2019 09:37 | I phoned Daniel Stewart today and they said the following: - There is expected to be a corporate notification/action in the coming weeks - Daniel Stewart does not actually have the private investment. The private investment is linked to Atlantic Coal. So I imagine that anyone that had shares in Daniel Stewart will be given shares in Atlantic Coal. This is a listed company and shareholders will be able to liquidate their investment should they wish to do so. I reckon though that the share equivalent for Atlantic Coal will be rubbish i.e. if you had £1000 worth of DAN shares, it will probably be worth £10-100 in Atlantic Coal shares. That's my best guess. | fernagx
16/2/2019 19:24 | SO what is going to happen to all of the investments that people have put in? | fernagx
15/2/2019 09:43 | p@ 13 Feb '19 - 09:56 - 8194 of 8195 Thanks - yes, ATC is one of mine from some long time ago. f | fillipe
13/2/2019 14:23 | And once again the name Adam Wilson appears - he is executive chairman and CEO of Atlantic Carbon /Atlantic Coal. Have a read through some of this thread if that name means nothing. I can't say this fills me with confidence but at least the company is still alive which I guess is better than the alternative. | spot1034
13/2/2019 09:56 | Of interest here? | p@
21/8/2018 10:42 | Will this ever return to AIM? If so it would be at like 0.2p. | fernagx
19/5/2018 12:58 | Got 12500k stuck in this after they went down,ever hopeful though,you never know! | synthia123
01/4/2018 11:41 | nod, A bit late at the party there I think..... | andy

01/4/2018 09:07 | All the resolutions have been passed and they are going for a fund raise @ 0.30p ! | ramsis
12/3/2018 18:02 | A name change must surely be on the cards. | spot1034
12/3/2018 17:53 | The brand name is toxic. I can't see it would have any value. | nod
12/3/2018 14:34 | Reviving this thread as I have received a communication from them in the post this morning, and those whose holdings are not in certificated form might like to see the documents online. hxxp://www.danielste There are two links at the bottom to click on. Basically the company is now a cash shell and they are looking for opportunities, probably not in the financial sector. I suppose we should have realised all along that if the stockbroking business were ever to recover we shareholders would probably not see much if any benefit, and having been in this situation before my expectations for recovering any value here are not high. But you never know, stranger things have happened! | spot1034
31/3/2016 08:26 | I now have only 262,116 shares left to close my short, see below: If anyone wants to sell their DAN shares at 0.4p, please get your broker to contact Ken at Cambell O'Connor (tel 00 353 (1) 679 1969. Non-negotiable on price as that is the level that others are trading at, sorry. WShak | wshak
11/3/2016 11:32 | twica, Why not call them instead? Many directors do not like replying to emails because it makes them accountable! | andy
09/3/2016 16:02 | I e mailed Peter Shea and 2 other directors of this company in February asking for an update on the company. Still waiting for a reply. | twica
09/3/2016 09:54 | WShak - many thanks and good luck in closing. | ucretin
08/3/2016 09:32 | ucretin, The difference between paying 0.4p now and waiting for 0p in, say, a year's time is immaterial to me. As I was short from prices ranging between 2.5-3.3p, why bother waiting for the last few quid? I have sellers willing to trade at 0.55p FWIW, but I am not paying more than 0.4p to close my remaining short. @WShak1 | wshak
06/3/2016 11:40 | ucretin 4 Mar'16 - 16:29 - 8176 of 8179 0 0 WShak - if this share has no future why are you so keen for holders to sell. No one is going to buy a share that according to you is 'bust'! --- He disclosed he is buying to close his short! Oh dear! | andy
04/3/2016 16:32 | ucretin You are living up to your name sunshine, well done He wants to close his short. | lydnem
