01/3/2024 23:41 | Update maybe OK but share price going nowhere | cielos
24/1/2024 07:41 | Encouraging update IMO DYOR | qs99
01/12/2023 12:54 | Yes I thought so too, hybrasil. The effects of the housing slowdown were bound to be disappointing, but can't go on for ever. | muckshifter
01/12/2023 12:02 | I thought that was a very positive tu? Green shoots in London sounds great and Canada could be very interesting | hybrasil
21/11/2023 14:05 | That's funny My trades today are 2 x 20k buys timed at 12:47:38 and 12:51:41 Identical trades to mine timed just after mine One market maker buying from another Too coincidental for anything else ? Not seen anything like that before | basem1
21/11/2023 13:13 | Yes. I bought in at £1.39!This is a good company so I'm sticking long term. | gavbro0
21/11/2023 12:56 | With that in mind I have purchased quite a few shares | basem1
21/11/2023 12:56 | Agreed The market has not factored in the recent Galliford Try contract or the latest acquisition as yet I would suggest there is 50% upside from here with a 3.1% dividend yield The yield is not great but the upside potential mitigates the lower dividend | basem1
21/11/2023 12:22 | Yes This is yet another undervalued aim stock of which there are several. (and I own several!) Floated in 2016 at £1 - I think its worth at least that at the moment | hybrasil
21/11/2023 08:00 | RNS - Mark Cutler's(CEO) wife buys 100k shares at 39.2p. Decent show of confidence in the business! | lammylover
09/11/2023 11:34 | I think (hope) that today's announcement by Galliford is beneficial to Van Elle. They are already very strong in water board works at a time when a big push is coming in that industry, and have today announced a takeover of an electrical and mechanical co, which should enhance that strong position. That in turn makes the recent deal and alliance between GT & VE look very promising and well timed. (Thanks Pug, hope we both have many years of posting left!) | muckshifter
07/11/2023 20:16 | I don’t think I have ever seen the UK stock market in such a bad shape | hybrasil
27/10/2023 13:16 | Red:- as you say - The $64K question - The known unknowns. Muckshifter:- Good to see you are still with us. A great weekend to you both | pugugly
27/10/2023 13:02 | I was pleased to see the details of the deal, which I think has many excellent aspects. Particularly pleasing to me was the deal with Galliford, as they are the biggest contractor in UK water company works and VE are almost not present in that field, which has huge essential expansion on the cards, whichever government we endure. | muckshifter
27/10/2023 12:33 | PUG Thanks. Change of government is an interesting scenario. I would guess that it now guaranteed, as far as guarantees go. We cannot predict how the change will be accepted World US Europe UK Need to see their policies, but the city will be a key player, as ever. Suspect they may not have room for significant change in the early days and they have to get those key platers onboard. red | redartbmud
27/10/2023 11:55 | red:- good bottom line summary of the presentation. No mention however made of the potential benefit/risk from a likely change of government. Personally I suspect that a bit like the "Curate's egg" Some good some bad but at the moment unable to compute the balance. Thoughts? | pugugly
27/10/2023 11:48 | I see it as a very positive move and at a modest price. A strategic base in the south. Capital equiment additions, saving £1m per annum for the next 5 years. Expanded capaicity. 5 year closer working with Galliford Try. Possible better access to contracts in the south of the country. Part deferred consideration allows for integration and development of the 'new' business and to pay down the balance from positive cash inflows from growth. The negative is the current state of the UK economy, and the length of time elapse before it returns to growth. red | redartbmud
27/10/2023 11:38 | Management sounded encouraging - New purchase will substantially increase their capability and geographic footprint. SP recovery will however very much depend on the execution - particularly on "inflation mitigation" clauses is current and future contracts. | pugugly
27/10/2023 10:46 | IMC presentation in 14 minutes | pugugly
26/10/2023 22:05 | Great to see despite all the doom and gloom a co on the expansionary train | hybrasil
22/8/2023 16:18 | Decent amount of trade today | hybrasil
26/7/2023 07:15 | 20% increase in dividend. Long term looks great No or virtually no debt. What’s not to like Update 8.03am It just shows what this market is like. Great results = No trade! | hybrasil
20/7/2023 15:18 | Hmmmmm.... | cwa1
20/7/2023 15:17 | Looks like next weeks's results are good. No leak !!!!!!! | imjustdandy
20/7/2023 15:01 | thanks hybrasil, looks like it is so tightly held, spread widened now. COuld hit 50p at this rate today with more smaller buyers DYOR | qs99 |
