When everyone and their dog says buy gold it is probably time to sell.

My target for gold was $2900 this year, probably by Easter, but I think that time line may have slipped to next year due to today's alleged easing tensions in the middle east, aid for Ukraine meaning they may not lose the war this year, and of course Biden will want a feel good factor going into the election.

Tempted to sell some gold this week and buy it back in October.

A very real scenario is that Trump will be convicted in this New York kangaroo court, given prison time, imprisoned, and his security removed, then Epsteined. Of course it would all be overturned on appeal, but that is of course beside the point.

I can see Mike Pence finally repenting following the murder of Trump, admitting that he knew very well the 2020 election was rigged, but did not have the courage to act, as he failed to realise the true gravitas of the situation.

Today gold is down, as the US aid package is voted thru, and the expectation is that the aid will slow down the Russian advance.
So the risk of Ukraine losing this summer has been pushed back to next summer.
By next summer Biden, Sunak and Macron will hopefully be gone, and the political landscape will be very different.
