22/9/2003 11:36 | Hi, Epic Reconstruction came to the AIM market last week. It is a commercial finance company that is taking on the established asset lenders (invoice finance) head on. Established lenders only lend up to 85% of debtors, however EPIC plans to lend over 100% of debtors and take an equity stake for that. EPIC will then sell their stake on to management later for a tidy profit. Investors chronicle loved the stock. Does anyone have any views? | treeranger |
