17/4/2024 18:43 | We are of course talking about drastic action which I'm sure the directors would only proceed with if the current undervaluation continues. The best for all is a sale and I'm sure this will happen later this year. At the moment it's not a sellers' market as highlighted by Stuart Last. So Audiboom just has to continue with its business, prove its worth and wait for an approach. Cavendish have an excellent reputation and track record in M&A. | wooty01
17/4/2024 18:37 | Thx cyberbub. Boom is basically a US company with the vast proportion of its revenue coming in USD in USA market. Most of senior management are in New York. If I was part of the decision making on this issue I'd take the steps to go fully into a US stock market. No point having a major portion of stock still in UK and subject to the mindset of negativity which is mirrored on this board. There will be issues for some investors who have used ISA and will not be able to tax shield their investment anymore. | wooty01
17/4/2024 17:51 | You can either cancel the listing on AIM and transfer to the Nasdaq lock stock and barrel, and we end up owning US stocks (perfectly legal and straightforward to trade). Or else you can transfer some of the shares onto Nasdaq using what are known as American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) which is typically a package of 5 or 10 shares which remain sort of UK-listed but US-traded. Or you can issue some new shares, perhaps 20-25% extra shares, specifically for listing on Nasdaq (in effect a small placing). Naturally we would probably not prefer the last option as it's dilution, but if the company uses any new monies to ramp up expansion, and if ultimately it means that the share price rises 100% fairly quickly, we probably wouldn't mind :-) | cyberbub
17/4/2024 17:03 | You're right Div, but Audioboom have every justification. The company has grown enormously with proven revenue and increasing market penetration in the podcast industry. We know what's happening and the stark reality is that AIM is no longer a true market for serious businesses. It's for traders but it's become significantly worse. | wooty01
17/4/2024 16:39 | Wooty I don't know the process either would be interested to be enlightened. | mrbear2
17/4/2024 16:28 | There's probably not an AIM CEO who doesn't believe his company is being woefully undervalued on that market. Short of closing down that market forever, it isn't going to change much until the HM Treasury get serious about making London markets once again the go-to place for global venture and risk capital. | divmad
17/4/2024 16:23 | You've read the comments correctly MrBear2. Management are totally frustrated with the Aim market and rightly so. On no metrics is the current valuation realistic nor justified. We all now it's being manipulated between a range of 250 to 350. All by the same players except for some a few new or long term investors. If this situation doesn't change I fully expect a listing elsewhere or a sale which probably won't be near a fair value of £13. But for sure work is going on in the background and something will be done. Management have had enough of growing the company and a true value not being reflected. I don't know the process to delist and move to another stock market. | wooty01
17/4/2024 14:52 | Had a good listen to the Investor Presentation on you tube last night and its clear to me that there is some dismay at the current valuation of the business and share price. It was also clear that they have looked into the possibility of a relisting in the US. There will come a time, I think, when they decide to do this if things do not pick up. I wonder if major shareholder's (Tobin/Candy)are encouraging this? My view, and I'm no expert, is that if this does not pick up by the year end a US listing could be a real possibility. Thoughts? | mrbear2
17/4/2024 12:27 | Agreed. Although I see these pullbacks as an opportunity. Perfect for those with a long term view on the company. | mrsqueezy
17/4/2024 11:55 | This is just unbelievable. There are rubbish dog poo shares on the market valued a lot more than boom . This is a fast growing tech company that's valued at next to nothing compared to peers . Imo boom should be trading at 500p+ | jungmana
17/4/2024 10:00 | Share price weakening as it did after the January's trading update.I will buy more before the Q2 update. Outlook for year is excellent. | z1co

16/4/2024 14:12 | Z1CO12 Apr '24 - 10:49 - 8493 of 8533 0 7 0 In April 2022 the share price was over £20 and the company was experiencing record trading. In that month they also averaged 21.6 million downloads in US per week. Comparing that figure with this year's January: In January, podcasts on the Audioboom Creator Network were downloaded by more than 38.6 million unique listeners worldwide, a new monthly record and more than 9% up on Q4 2023's monthly average (34.4 million). That's the reason why i'm so bullish about the outlook for Q1 and 2024. When we get update on Monday , then the share price will start to rerate massively like it did in 2021. - - hahahahaha WTF Z1CO12 Apr '24 - 16:20 - 8499 of 8533 0 3 0 Still holding ahead of Monday's Q1 update. All the data so far this from the company suggests that Q1 will be a lot better than Q4 2023 when they achieved $19.2m and generated $0.7m free flow cash. ------hahahaaha WTF A revenue for Q1 of above $20m will set the tone for 2024. Where has that ramping gimp muppet Z1co/themachine2 gone....crying cus he has lost his pocket money and has to tell mummy... Not to worry she is still proud of you for your centre spread in this month's Pride magazine....just waiting now for your hair palm and fingers to type a couple of dozen swear words in response....no doubt you will copy me and repeat some of the above.....but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.... Where is you next clueless ramping coming from you useless clown.... | terryfwit

15/4/2024 21:43 | Hamid, you should qualify your statement that Q1 24 revenue is lower than Q4 as it always is due to seasonality. And Q1 24 cash is lower than Q4 as it always is due to the upfront costs of payments to podcasters. This must have been too technical for you. Not trying to mislead are you? | wooty01
15/4/2024 20:55 | Nasdaq is down 300 points after a 6000+ point rise from 2022 lows. But you knew this | mrsqueezy
