Although its not exports starting, these actual words from the report are highly encouraging for us investors. please read below.

Local sales volumes have rebounded since the beginning of 2024, with year to date gross average sales of c.33,300 bopd and March to date sales of c.43,000 bopd. We are more than covering our monthly expenditures and have significantly reduced accounts payable, with all invoices now current. Free cash flow from current robust local sales demand is being used to further improve our liquidity position. Thats certainly a possibility but not a certainty. My view is to be patient for a bit longer.

Not sure how the USA would view that either, especially as Sudani was keen to encourage large USA investment in all of Iraq. Nonsense like this doesnt give a good impression for investors looking for political stability.

Then of course we could have Trump back in November who will have a "different" perspective to put it mildly.

All to play for and wait for.

Only if the IOCs agree on contracts the rest is speculation.
That's been the stumbling block for the last 8 months. It's a game of poker now.

Erbil are effectively a side show now. Baghdad/SOMO have taken control and even the most blinkered and in denial gullible sucker should understand that. They have zero leverage. They've even admitted that by stating the problem lays between Apikur and Baghdad. Distancing themselves in order not to receive any blame as I said months ago.

Baghdad want 400k a day for 12.6% of the Iraq budget. They want details of all the people that exist. They want to pay it into bank accounts that are legitimate. They want to cut down on all the other mouths that have been troughing for years. They want to count the barrels being exported and get the revenue for said barrels.
