Difficult to predict annual vs annual results because of contractual business but all end markets look good over the medium/long term.

As far as I can tell those numbers were a beat of those pencilled.

This company is a growth company again and no one has noticed.

In my view, if the shares do not rally strongly now SRP will be bought.

Results today extremely satisfactory

And so was the outlook statement.

Ftse 100 re-entry at some point looks likely.

Check out the above.

The growth here since 2017 (yes from a low base) is kind of extraordinary really.

The share price has NOT kept up with events

I think that the buyout has brought to everyone's attention the fact that this is cheap

Pretax has gone from 10 million in 2017 to over 200million last time

Is the share price still rising on the hope of a buy out?

Kleinmenn sky news .... Exclusive: Serco, the FTSE-250 outsourcer, received a takeover approach late last year from American Industrial Partners, a US-based buyout firm, that would have valued it at approximately £2.5bn. A person close to Serco insists there are no live talks.

When I saw I pop 5% to 1.82 I was hoping news might have leaked on what we are all hoping for (a takeover) but haven't seen any rumours

Sold a few this morning, but a nice statement yesterday and the small acquisition looks good.

Another upgrade to cash conversion and cash at ye plus an incremental acquisition in one of their core areas of expertise. Initial indications for 2024 look on the conservative side which should allow room for upgrades as the year proceeds all being well. Expecting another significant buyback to be announced with the final results plus close to 20% increase in dividend. All of which should allow further compound dividend increases of 10%+ for the next few years bringing the forward yield to very respectable levels.

I have a for me medium sized holding here and over the long weekend caught up with the interims. I liked what I saw and said they should not be under 150p.
Others seem to have done the same and it closes at 153p.
Will top up if goes under 150p again and in the meantime am very relaxed about my holding here.

Strong set of interims - cashflows being invested in share buybacks at this price are strongly earnings enhancing. In fact it will look undergeared by the year end, so I expect more.

PER of around 10.5x at this levels. Pleased to see the dividend increase as the yield is the last metric that needs improving. Should be scope for a number of years of double digit increases, taking the yield closer to 3%.
