The first instalment on the bond is not due until September 2016.
The BNC bond has no impact on the Mwana group beyond its nickel operation.

The Herald is not known for the quality of its journalism.

There's a new thread under ASA.

You don't know much about indigenisation if you think they pay their way.

Looks like they are well advised and taking it over in stages at successively lower prices. This way they are meeting little or no opposition and have even managed to raise a bit of money in the process from gullible shareholders.. A few investors it appears even support them.
Perversely,100 % indigenisation might he in our favour (I still own a few). Mugabe might pay us more than Ning !

They could have offered 0.1p if they delisted previously... Doesn't matter when they do it, you either bend over and accept or launch your own legal appeal and fight it (although unless there is a number of PIs that coordinate together, doubt you'll get very far).

Not sure why you keep on banging the same old drum if you've already sold out... And if you haven't and you really think it is that much of a risk, not sure why you don't just sell out at 0.85p, instead of wait for the inevitable in your eyes

The big worry for everyone should be the Nickel price and Mugabe passing and it actually not getting better, but worse, if someone like Grace Mugabe takes control. On the flipside, indigenisation may stop a major shareholder delisting this, with the risk they would be too clever and lose it all themselves. Why risk it

Apparently "ASA" means "gift from God" in Chinese. "Stolen" would be a more appropriate new name.
The chairman nor any of the NEDs bothered to turn up for the AGM .
This company has been handed to it's majority shareholders with the help of Dearing, some very stupid investors and some clever advisers.
Cantor Fitzgerald, and the NEDs must be fully aware of what Ning is up to and have aided and abetted him.
I suspect those who have not yet sold,or those that recently bought will be put out of their misery with an open offer from Ning at about 0.1p per share.

Why do a company like Mwana need one of the big four like KPMG to audit them? Surely it is more cost effective to get another auditor in, hence why the resolution may have been rejected?

To jump to a conclusion that it is all part of some plan to delist without any basis or offer any alternative potential reason is ridiculous. Feels like going over same old conspiracies we went through during the EGM resolutions, when they could have quite easily delisted if that was the intent.

With the new director buying in here in mid September there won't be any news on whats going on here until after mid October. This is being well played by the Chinese to get the company very cheap. I might just have a flutter here for a bit of fun. The offer subscribers must know something or they surely feel sick now! gla.

1 Open Offer Share for every 3.802 Ordinary Shares held on the Record Date.
I stand corrected .I was reading it as3,802 and not 3.802.Sorry.

casaballa it was 1 for every 3.8 shares you held, not 1 for every 4000. Goodness knows where you got that figure from. If this thread was anything to go by it was clear there was little interest in the offer from small pis. Ning was the main supporter.

Intriguing that new Auditors will be required after Resolution 6 failed. I guess that's the Chinese big-hitters voting against Resolution 6; any insight here? Is that a potential reason for the Nomad exiting?........

But surely the main disincentive was the offer price being lower than that in the market?

Could be the fact that you could only purchase 1 share for every near 4,000 you had as an existing shareholder..400,000 shares would get you 100 open offer shares.Wow £1 worth.
