The Gelion news is interesting. Way too early to compare their tech with Goliath, but plenty of room for multiple battery technologies in the future as everything goes electric. What it does demonstrate is how quickly shares can move in this sector. Ilika will hopefully reveal more on the upcoming Capital Markets day.

GELN Better than Ilika's offering I think. (At least their directors appear to have put faith in the company buy buying stock recently)

Picked up another 25k shares this morning, the buy/sell indicator vs the rising volumes through the order book is utter BS & so I’ve doubled down on my hunch #vegasbaby

What participants on this site clearly don’t understand is the commercial tactics around its technology. In the trade it’s called the secret sauce. IKA know they have the best-in-class SSB technology.
So, IKA must first allow competitors to go sufficiently down the wrong road until they reach the point of no return. QS, and others, have now gone sufficiently down that road of no return. Which is why IKA can now elaborate a little more than before.
It’s been slow and frustrating, but the tactics are absolutely correct.

No one said SSBs were easy. IKA have struggled for years like everyone else but the last 18 months or so has seen great progress with Goliath. Can they scale remains the big question. I think they will get a partner soon to help answer that question

I will be attending and asking a lot of questions in advance too. I'm a believer in Stereax and Goliath but it seems many aren't judging by the company valuation. 50m versus $3bn v QuantumScape for example. On a risk reward basis this is a great opportunity to build a long term stake IMHO.

OK, so I’ve been out, sat on my hands since bailing at 144p
My buy order just got filled at 28p

Next update will be key so I’m hoping for big things

They did one a few years ago, think it was followed by a fund raising but I think this is about getting a bigger investor base ie getting the share price up before a fundraising. Hopefully it will get more analysts following too

We are due an update. Total silence for 2 months at a time of heightened activity doesn’t feel right. I want to know how Stereax commercialisation is coming along as well as when FDA approval is expected.

Despite IKA understandably secret approach around Goliath performance, all the major battery and auto OEMs, will be watching the technical development and milestones very carefully. 50m valuation inc cash and Stereax, doesn't reflect the probability that one of them might want to buy into Goliath sooner rather than later. But obviously it could all turn to dust

Tesla 4860 energy density is 232 not 300-350. Just a little research goes a long way.
