It is expected that completion of the Acquisition and Placing will take place at 8am on 2 December 2013. Also on that date it is expected that the entire issued share capital of the Company, as enlarged by the acquisition of FinnAust Mining plc, will be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission").

So is this stock back on aim?
If so what ticker is used?

No value, what planet really? The portfolio has had millions of euor's invested, more cash has been raised and Western has a fantastic track record of discovery. The next door guys have just had world class drill results, geology is similar along strike, surely there is value? Can I ask what exploration companies you're invested in that have value, would be intersted?

I suspect even MORE dilution is to come.

No value here for existing shareholders imo, only potentially for new ones.

Time to be out. Strong sell.

Just next door to CEN's licence area, ASX listed Altona Mining has hit big with spectacular intercept of 108 metres at 2.4% copper including 58 metres at 4.2% copper which is the best drillhole result at Kylylahti deposit since its discovery in 1984. Altona identfied a new Wallaby zone in aug with 29m at 4.7% copper and its price has rocketed. This district is hot, world class and with a few good results from the guys, we should hopefully see some fireworks.

Its a new company, new assets, , in a new jurisdiction (No1 in the world for mining). The assets, located in highgrade producing province, that is recognised as woorld class - see Outakumpu - have come from a hugely successful company in Western Areas, $500 m mkt cap and divi paying. Let the sellers out and then see the buying. Look at Altona Mining Ltd on the ASX (not London one!), who struck with a project along strike from FinnAusts, share price rocketed. Hope people get caught with their trousers down as I'm invested and tired of the harping

From my point of view this company has always been a way of taking investors money, losing a chunk of it and giving the rest to the directors. SWC fail, CHC, fail, CEN I can hazard a guess......

I'm a shareholder and frustrated by the comments. I would like to know why the inherent value of Western's Finnish business is not being recognised. This is a fundamental play - assets in high grade producing district, millions already spent on bringing to drill stage, with drills going in, a few high grade results will send this flying. Look at Altona on the ASX (not the one in London which we all know about!), that went bananas, forgive the technical term. The company is cashed up, has a highly supportive shareholder who has cash, they pay a dividen on the ASX, surely the perfect scenario. I hope those trying to desztablise this and are probably short will take a hit when this flies

Proof will be in the pudding, the western areas guys have an excellant track record and irrespective of the comments above, Clyton was involved with Extract resorces, sold for 2.2 billion to the Chinese. One of the few resouce successes. He must have access into the Chinese so any discovery and off we go with offtake and financing. Not sure why peopel are mentioning the collapse, the placing was done at .5p so you would expect the price to initially follow this. I suspect people are trying to destablise, we shall see
