Well I am not worried but for any Simpson followers I am known in our family as "Homer" due to the takeover of the nuclear plant episode. When Homer sells out just before the takeover, fortunately I had a far greater position held but the family don't see that!

The RNS today says it has all gone through now.

I accepted the offer a few days ago. Does that mean I will get my money on 20 Oct?

'Settlement of the consideration due under the Offer in respect of valid
acceptance received not later than 1.00pm (London time) on 6 October 2009 will
be despatched (or, in respect of Birmingham City Shares held in uncertificated
form, credited through CREST) on or before 20 October 2009.'

Tiltonboy - cheers for that. I have just checked and indeed they have sent me an email in my broker account. Suffice to say I have accepted the offer!

You should have had notification from your broker of the corporation action. They will then accept for you.

Anyone know how we get hold of this document to agree to the sale if you hold your shares through a broker/don't have a paper certificate?
