In December at the trading update they said they expected to release audited numbers in March. So they have missed that. If not this week they need to update as to why. All seems to have gone a bit Pete Tong here.

Normally I would view the relentless mark down as a sign that a fundraising was coming. But surely they can't raise capital at this price. If TCAT development needs more cash than we can generate at this point in its lifecycle I think we are in big trouble. When is it going to be finished?

Well that million trade that looks like a big sell at a low of just 4.25 makes you wonder what’s going on.

Dividend is low but surely there is potential for growth what with TCAT and just asset value let alone increased income from good management of the assets.

Well certainly dropping bricks as profits are swallowed by TCAT.

Its a tempting price in a depressed small co market with TCAT news probably to come.

However I’ve got very tired of all the cosy chats and buzzwords. That stuff about reverse engineering is a prime example of total waffle, if its not followed by an explanation.

If anyone wonders what I’ve got against proactive, their irrelevance was perfectly demonstrated by the lack of the obvious question: “what do you mean by the reverse engineering and AI comment ?”

(My spare “risky” money has been going into Bitcoin and Ethereum for a while in any case, in case we are at a defining point in crypto.)

Look on the positive side, unlikely to be much downside at this level, this year. So maybe time to start thinking of tucking a few away on weakness again, and if there is no TCAT news look to sell at the next spike.

Hi. Thanks for posting these things. He is always positive and doesn't seem to mind that his share price is in the toilet. I think he loves the business and his life. My reading of what he said was that TCAT revenues were were £180k at H1 and will be double that in the full year just ended. But they were £367k in FY 22. Not much growth there. Fascinating to see the TCAT chairman gone. I know he was not a main board director but surely we should have been told ?

MI seems fairly upbeat for next year.
Just checked Companies House , it would seem that Ed Vernon is no longer a director
of TCAT as from 30/11/2023.Seem to remember he had a small TCAT share stake .
No idea if this fits in with a possible float?? Raises a few questions anyway.

I wonder what the reverse engineering is ? Something is being reverse engineered, but what ?! What has AI got to do with it ? Why are my disc brakes squealing ?

Didn’t know TCAT supposed to double revenue.

TCAT float off not mentioned before ?

Do I really have to go to Proactive brown-nosers to get this info or have I just missed it ?

I suppose if we were feeling generous then might expect TCAT update in finals but not in a trading ststement.

But I’m not and I guess a few others aren’t either. Been too long and too vague repeatedly.

Looks like a case of “nothing to see here” for the time being. Steady progress - nothing on TCAT yet.

Well that jump to 7p in September didn't last long. What a miserable existence it is as an OMIP shareholder. What could change that - got to be TCAT. At some time soon the development has to be done and it's revenue opportunities made much clearer to us. Down over 15 percent in the year.

Just looking back to interims:

£182K said to come from TCAT trials. (Lets ignore the usual quote of the % increase over previous year as thats a silly comparison - sadly seen in so many RNS’s when in the startup stage - do they think investors are stupid ?).

“ Continued growth and expansion of TCAT client base, with internationally recognised songwriters, two majors and several independents among those now either trialling or licensing TCAT's software”

So does that mean some clients are licensing rather than trialling ? In which case I’d like to know whether the licences are fixed £ annually or related to something else. ie. What capacity is there for them to expand ?

At the time of the recent appointments to the TCAT team, the “impact of TCAT on the industry” was mentioned.

I don’t think 180K is an impact on the industry.

Very tired of words. Next update crucial imo. I want to see this “impact” explained in money and particularly what “potentialR21; means in possible £ terms. What’s the market size ?

Because if two majors and several independents have only generated £182K, where’s the potential coming from ?

Not sure many people want a small stock as a sizeable investment as an income stock. Risks are too high. At the moment with safe returns at 5-6%, discounts to NAV don’t really mean much for the big stocks and certainly not for tiny ones. Perhaps that will change.

Bit different if you’re getting a very fat dividend from a private company where the number of shares has been carefully limited.

All eyes on TCAT for me.
