Well nobody is going to convert while earning 8.15% but they might be able to re-finance the loan on better terms but I doubt that as the loan was from a close source I seem to recall.

The three trades that moved it up were all on AQSE so over the past two days that looks like around 100k of buys, which for this company is a large number of late.

Note that DSG's directors alone do not own the required 25% to block a takeover.

However, they would only need a further 3.07% to do so, so that is perhaps an ideal situation: as a fair offer is unlikely to be blocked, but a rip-off offer could well be - which could well help to flush out a higher offer, or indeed force a better offer in the first place.


The CLNs are unlikely be converted by the directors because of the high conversion price relative to the current s.p.:-

Nobody could take it over without the insiders approval, as they hold to many shares, so the price would be high but that might put off any buyer.

The directors already have a very good number of shares and if they did start and serious buying I am sure it would send the share price a lot higher, as there are so few shares in free float.

In addition if they convertered that £400k loan into shares it would realy bring the debt down in a flash. They will have already paid off another £120k off the covid loan that was at £750k at end of 2023, so that is rapidly reducing now as well.

They are going to make big office savings in 2024 of around £200k because of the break in lease and taking a smaller area of office space on better terms.

Still, unless they do buy more shares or there is bid, I can only see the shares sitting around at this mark until the intrims.

So DSG's first adjusted operating profit since 2018 ... a year when its share price topped 100p, i.e. over ten times the current level of 9.5p.

Any views as to what a takeover value here would be?

Potentially/probably multiples of the current share price of 9.5p I would think.

And at this level, predators have probably already been sniffing around, at least.

I am surprised that we have not seen yesterdays buys being sold back into the MM hands so far today.

Maybe there is more news to coe before the web presentation, hence itbeing next week, rather than as usual same day as the accounts.

R101 as you are not a premium payer on this site under T101 I guess you will not have seen the 14,367 buy on AQSE at 9.96p which suggests that with another buy or two it will start going blue.

A little life seems to have pushed it's head through the ground, Spring Shoots T101.

21,276 purchase on AQSE early this morning in addition to the 10,526 showing on ADVFN.

A takeover might be the only thing to move this back into the 20's it seems, even though the results, based on the previous RNS (which they have not changed in this RNS)should be very positive and should show the progress that is being made and further reduction of the Covid debt which is shrinking at a pretty decent rate each month T101.

It's been a long time since we have seen over 120k buys in a day.

Not many shares are in free float, so if it moves it could be quickly.

Someone has just been buying 20k plus 25k showing on on AQSE plus 2k on LSE.

Another few buys and it will move I guess as it was trading at 9p for months and the MM took a fair but not big number on board at 9p I think.

Shares in Norman Broadbent lse:nbb are up.
They are in the recruitment sector.

Who knows, maybe there might be hope for Dillistone shares.

Well T101 it only took under 30k of trades to knock almost 15% off the value of the pish. So if a few buys that totalled 100k of shares it may hit 12/15p in a flash, if no sellers turned up for a day. Less than £10k’s worth.

As you know it’s all about timing but it needs to be followed by good news.

Well T101 it certainly looks like it's on it's last legs, as you can now buy them below the last visible sell price, and a new low.

I guess it is because the outlook in recruitment is difficult at present.

Still there are sellers and it’s still in the dog house, hopefully in the new tax year it will wake up.

It’s been a very poor performing stock and with next to no news flow or contract news, I guess it’s all one can expect.
