02/1/2014 08:49 | Quite so. I was a bit taken aback that they are going to sell a lot of what they have already bought because of a technicality. It a pity to be that it had to happen at all. The costs must I suppose be paid for by the shareholders in the end. As I am also a F2/3/4 holder and these little 'notes' do worry me. I was hoping for a bit of stability on this one like the solar VCT. | hazelton
02/1/2014 07:07 | Hi, they've said there has been a problem in securing VCT-qualifying investments at a suitable price, so they will diversify a bit - into solar, I think. Currently about 65% invested. It may be that maintaining the dividend will be a problem. VCTs often disguise this by paying out of capital. (I'm quoting from the recent factsheet covering June - September.) | jonwig

02/3/2012 08:05 | Not likely to be a busy thread, and holders need a five-year view. Am keen on infrastructure funds as an investment theme. | jonwig
02/3/2012 08:02 | Also Foresight Infrastructure VCT 2 [FTNI]. Subscribers at float had to buy both. | jonwig |
