28/3/2024 09:58 | From WSG CEO today… Commenting on the results and current trading, Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said: "We continue to battle against probably one of the worst world economic and political backgrounds in recent times. | bumpa33
28/3/2024 09:56 | Lead to believe there is some question now arisen over the SND raise and when/how it is happening, if at all. That needs releasing to the mkt… | bumpa33
28/3/2024 09:25 | :D Oh yeah, thanks. I’d totally forgotten. | jbravo2
28/3/2024 09:23 | How long though do we have to wait for news? It's been 9 months of pain since a bogus protest halted everything. | donald pond
28/3/2024 09:11 | Mattjos, thanks for posting the quote, but that looming copper shortage story has been pumped for at least the past decade. Seeing will be believing. | lefrene
28/3/2024 09:10 | Thanks bumpa33, no, I posted on the MEN thread that I no longer believe a few days ago. The projects just kept slipping and I started to think the GHC IPO was not going to happen and that was confirmed this morning. I’m fortunate in that I sold some in Monday but am still chewing over what do with my remaining holding. I live and learn. Onwards and hopefully upwards when I resume trading when the opportunities present themselves in hopefully a better market. | all in eol
28/3/2024 09:05 | Wan, the (self appointed) chief chartist seems to be MIA Can you pull up a chart for BIRD please? | jbravo2
28/3/2024 09:00 | AiE - sorry to hear you were still in MEN, thought you’d got out. A reminder we’re all only one lousy RNS away from a kicking… | bumpa33
28/3/2024 09:00 | Oh no. Podgyted is worrying! How alarming for us all I’m sure he’s some kind of guru Demirli is currently valued at zero. Does he think that will go down?? | jbravo2
28/3/2024 08:56 | AXL update disappoints, reserves look OK, but current production slightly below expectations. | e43
28/3/2024 08:49 | BIRD is the word jb2 :-) | wanobi
28/3/2024 08:47 | BIRD launching its saviour product doesn’t seem to have had the intended consequence to the share price yet. Isn’t £37 due anyday now? | jbravo2
28/3/2024 08:46 | at least we get the next 4 days away from the table :-) :-) | wanobi
28/3/2024 08:45 | There’s been loads of pumping… sorry “raising for discussion” of MEN on here over the years. I’m sure all the research carried out made sure that no-one lost any money | jbravo2
28/3/2024 08:43 | Fair play AiE, only recall Brasso warning on it ages back.? | riggerbeautz
28/3/2024 08:28 | sorry to hear that AiE, but, fully understand,,, if AAZ were to go the same way GULP,, my office will be up for sale,,, for a £,,, fingers crossed AAZ will come good for you/all who hold.... Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
28/3/2024 08:25 | I hold my hands up, I got MEN totally wrong. Despite turning to trading only for the last two weeks I still have core holding left in MEN and AAZ. I took some money out of both on Monday as per my post but despite that I’m having a very bad day at the office. | all in eol
28/3/2024 08:23 | Peter Levine, Chairman, comments: "I take no joy in recommending the cancellation of trading in Molecular's shares on AIM and know that this proposal will impact many shareholders. However the primary benefits of being listed are to avail oneself of access to capital, the ability to utilise one's shares as currency and enjoying the reputational boost of being on the London Stock Exchange. Molecular no longer receives any of those benefits and so can no longer justify the disproportionately high costs of remaining listed. As a Group its interests are best served by turning to the private arena where Molecular can regenerate away from the microscope and constraints of the public markets yet avail itself of funding and exit opportunities in some ways more flexible and abundant than remaining as a small public company on the London market. Since I do understand the disappointment that this will cause and which I wholeheartedly share, whilst making no commitment to do so, I do not rule out in the fullness of time and subject to de-listing and on becoming a private company making proposals to buy the shares of certain of those holders who either do not wish or are unable to be invested in a private business. My consideration in this direction reflects my conviction in the value of Molecular as a whole and of the new businesses that we continue to generate within the Company which the London market clearly does not recognise. I am confident that Molecular and its various businesses will thrive once again as a private enterprise with my continued support and invite any holders so minded to continue the journey alongside. In return shareholders can be assured that all who remain invested in whatever size will be dealt with fairly and will benefit from the openness in relation to shareholder communications through our website, social media and other channels, that we have always sought to apply." | wanobi
28/3/2024 08:17 | Seem to recall someone touted it here, but may be wrong. | riggerbeautz
28/3/2024 08:14 | Mi - I don’t generally spread bet with IG either, just CFD’s or share dealing. Their spreads are often terrible on the share dealing account, and way out of kilter with the RSP. Anyway, enough about IG, for today at least… the last really good CFD provider was MF Global and we know what happened to them 😳 | bumpa33 |
