Has anyone received payment for their shares yet? Vodaphone shareholder info. couldn't say and referred me to Equiniti, they have just kept me hanging about. As usual, P.I.'s can get stuffed while these scoundrels concentrate on feathering their nests.

Thanks to all who provided information, options, entertainment and comfort over the years on this and other blogs, during the decline and demise of this once great British company.
I guess I will see Grim, and Toby around and about.

Good luck to all

Jeez, Tobysam, I assumed it was a full service brokers too at that exorbitant price.

If you're really just after execution-only service, check this list out

reading the scheme circular the 10th is the latest day for crest settlements. Redmayne stated in a letter that cleared funds should be available from 27th july... Bit of a grey area?

I also think someone should advise TOBYSAM on this:

TOBYSAM
5 Jul'12 - 15:49 - 5443 of 5454

B1ggles I have no idea where you get £5-£15 dealing charges from
I just sold CW 2 weeks ago 40,640 Shares and the dealing costs were £329.91 that equates to .08 of a penny or 1.77% dealing costs

The real dealing cost (assuming 38p sell price) is 5%.

Ouch.

Maybe TOBYSAM's ISA account includes investment advice and is not purely a trading account? Hence the criminally high charges.

Ouch.

7775 vod @ 1.81 = £14703
stamp duty 0.5% = £70.36
charges (say) = £12

total charge £82.36.

toby you are paying far too much if you have a nominee a/c.
over a few years, if you are an active trader, it will cost you thousands.

Most dealers charge in the region of £10 (many less) per deal - obviously your VOD purchase would carry stamp duty and more obviously this is not payable on a sale!

are typical of what is available nowadays.
