The only thing that matters is a transfer of power from the west to the east. Short term gov. vs long term gov.

As befits a Condom maker, the strategy described in todays results sound suitably adventurous

"To grow through increased penetration, market share gains, and entering new spaces and new places."

Unfortunately the results were limp and the market was not excited.

Another dog ftse 100 company losing a fortune on poorly timed and executed acquisitions. Same price it was Nov 2015. Shocking. I notice Fundsmith dumped this a while ago, in fact Fundsmith now holds zero UK listed companies, has unloaded ulvr and Diageo too, says it all, ftse where it was dec 1999. Stick to usd investments in the S&P and Naz. The word is Amzn will do a stock split soon, should be good for a 30 pc pop over six months, plus a stock you can sleep at night owning as it takes over the world and puts most U.K. high st businesses in the toilet. Load up.

I have set up a new thread for RKT you are most welcome to use. I have put in a few charts I use to assist with trading, and will try and keep a log of earnings history as well. Happy to add anything else into the header.

Just taken a modest position at a suggestion from Atlantic Capital, that should be the kiss of death.

I was put off these shares when I heard that Terry Smith sold after holding them for 10 years.

I picked up a few more of these earlier today. It doesn't make sense to me how they're currently trading flat to pre-pandemic levels.

Sometimes the buy is done to create interest in the stock and push up the value of the £50m in shares he has.

Apollo

Sure rich people are prone to flush £1m down the toilet.

Go and buy some Bitcoin, cellular goods or Argo- I’m sure much better value there

@schroedar- How much is that £1.4m as a percentage of the Director's total holding of shares is what counts. I take no notice of a buy that is less than 10% of the Director's shareholding pre the purchase.
