Surely Saatchi isn't going to stay independent for the long term. A potential bidder only has to have a word with Murria and they are half way there...

Heavy buying again today.

Would be good to see a clear break above the 180p level and a move towards 200p.

The volume has been ramping up significantly since mid-November in line with the rise in price so some heavy accumulation seems to be going on.

There was takeover interest here before with both AdvancedAdvT and Next 15 Group bidding, so SAA could certainly be a target again.

A larger than usual number of bids in the UK recently helping bring buying interest back to the smallcaps.

Another likely takeover target here.

Someone is keen today with 1.2m matched with 3 lots of 400k @151p.

Some large sell orders sat on the book at 152p right now though.

Will the market buy through those or is there still a big seller at 151p that halts the rise here.

All imo

18/12 08:56 Just noted that there looks to be a trading update scheduled for this coming Friday. Don't know if that source is right, but watching from the sideline to see how trading is going. Prefer to see the update first. The market clearly believes the next update (whenever it is) won't see any major deterioration.

I managed to get in and out before the latest rout, but the chart looks to be saying 110-115p to me especially with the added war concern and contagion especially middle east.

Correct. Only need an RNS if currently directors or individually hold over 3% of the company.

These guys aren't existing directors and although they collectively hold 6%, can't hold over 3% individually otherwise there would be have been a TR-1.

Value Viper - Good point, but although they are 'co-founders', I'm not sure of their actual current position - ie whether they are actually linked with the company, or are just regarded as independent people with a personal interest in it. If so, it may be that the transactions didn't warrant an RNS.

-- Net revenue of GBP120.4million (H1 2022: GBP129.4million).

-- Headline profit before tax of GBP8.8million (H1 2022: GBP16.0million), with strong operating leverage
mitigating the impact of lower revenue.

Remember that the market is forward-looking. The prior drop may already be baked into the price.
