25/4/2024 09:11 | imho share price will be set as a tool for corporate actions as desired and not set by the free market for some time | kaos3
25/4/2024 09:10 | Hopefully the new guys will have a better idea Jaf and maybe that is where a better Chairman will come from. | soulsauce
25/4/2024 09:08 | Gold going up and copper back over ten thousand dollars a ton, that at least is something no one can moan about lol | shortarm
25/4/2024 09:08 | soul, You're more optimistic than I am. Kerim took a couple of years to pay out the special dividend even when he already had the money in the bank. If it's anything to do with geology, Kerim is the tops. If it's anything to do with administration, not so good. | jaf1948
25/4/2024 09:02 | Let's hope there are no pressures on the share price while all this is happening and I hope Kerim has learnt lessons from the past when they go looking for funding the project. | soulsauce
25/4/2024 08:53 | So AAU need to fire up the UK bandwagon and not sit around waiting for the ASX to be their share price saviour. | dixi
25/4/2024 08:51 | Yes, but when? It appears the market (which is supposed to be forward looking) is not convinced just yet. Afterall Venus listing now canned, why would the market assume it will be any different this time! | dixi
25/4/2024 08:50 | no clarity on further steps ... huge risk exposure.... i am just doing nothing | kaos3
25/4/2024 08:50 | Very interesting news though as others have noted, very difficult at this early stage to assess it's worth to us AAU shareholders. What I hope is beyond dispute is the clear signal this sends that KS etc are moving us towards the half billion market cap he has already flagged up as his intent. Gla. | bodgit
25/4/2024 08:49 | The market always corrects - didn't someone cleverer than me say that sometime? | shortarm
25/4/2024 08:47 | Unfortunately the market is not listening. AAU has managed to go so far under it's got lost! | dixi
25/4/2024 08:47 | Get that but a depressed market affects asset prices but yes everything open to interpretation. So many questions but they are the experts in this field that's why in invest in them so open to hear what they say. | bigglesbingham
25/4/2024 08:43 | 147 million dollars a year profit at a PE of 7 is over a billion dollars MCAP. | shortarm
25/4/2024 08:38 | Isn't Rockover a private company? If so, their value wouldn't be subject to market fluctuations. This valuation seems to be based on their Net asset Value, which is effectively managed by Rockover by valuing Dokwe assets at whichever valuation metric they decided to apply. "Rockover's registered office address is at Trident Chambers, Wickham's Cay, P O Box 146, Road Town, Tortola, VG 1110, British Virgin Islands. For the year ended 31 December 2023, Rockover's unaudited management accounts showed a loss before taxation of US$142,567 and total assets of US$19,311,586." | xow98
25/4/2024 08:37 | Ariana's stake is currently held in Asgard so how does that work? Do Ariana put the equivalent cash back in to Asgard or is Asgard separate from the parent company just in name? | soulsauce
25/4/2024 08:29 | zangdook I hear ya but I guess Kerim would argue that it makes no difference as we are getting Rockover at a depressed price. We will never know that though but gaining gold ounces for $16 is not bad at the end of the day. | soulsauce
25/4/2024 08:28 | You'd have to assume that rockover is depressed as well in this climate. Like selling a house in depressed environment , your also buying in depressed environment. Should like to see how their stock / value has faired. | bigglesbingham
25/4/2024 08:28 | to me it all does not make lots of sense btw ... i was all hard about leopard .... and if ozaltin is interested ... there he can spend some money ... borrowed or of their own | kaos3
25/4/2024 08:28 | Yes, time to ramp up the promotion on all fronts. Trouble is we got all the fanfare about Venus, then it gets pretty much canned after all the 'talking the talk', who can be sure what will or will not actually happen?Clearly the market has no idea either.Great for the dual listing, but what about attracting investors here in the meantime? Maybe they are finding the UK markets aren't that enamoured with their methods? | dixi
25/4/2024 08:26 | 4 mines in the offing if salanbas gets the go ahead! Full steam ahead | tnt99
25/4/2024 08:25 | why a deal coming as well ... no suspension makes it possible to adjust the share price to the further needs of the coming deal pure speculation of course i am not saying it will happen , just throwing options out , so one can take that into consideration as well when observing and so reaching the right conclusion faster and so act faster | kaos3
25/4/2024 08:24 | Better comms throughout would have had us at a higher price for this deal, but AAU don't do better comms. | xow98
25/4/2024 08:22 | Is no-one else bothered about a major acquisition for stock at such a depressed valuation? Are we supposed to be glad they didn't do it sub-2p? | zangdook
25/4/2024 08:17 | Market not sure how to value this potential deal. 14k volume on LSE, nil on Aquis. Perhaps it is only us LTH that follow AAU that are "aware" of the deal. Need a roadshow to get this out there so new investors are attracted. | xow98 |
